Stadium

The major feature of the piece is the glass envelope, old stadium lights sourced from a lamp crushing plant. Internal components are removed, and the lead/mercury recycled, with the lamps repurposed for this design. The powder-coated steel frame is given an organic pre-treatment, instead of the old-fashioned chrome methods, and the steel is easily recyclable. Recycled cardboard is used as a low-carbon packing material, and no solvents or glues are used to help with recycling.
