Solis

Drawing inspiration from the site’s magnificent location, the house features fluid internal spaces that are eliminated of superfluous detail and relate to the natural surroundings. Concrete is the primary material, chosen for its resiliency and thermal properties – suited to the sub-tropical climate. The rough-sawn timber boarded concrete finish adds texture, instant patina and colour, while polished concrete, unfilled honed travertine tiles and textured internal renders create a tactile interior.
