Point Piper Residence – IDEA 2020

Point Piper Residence

The streamlined forms, rich materials and adventurous use of bold graphic patterns that characterise Art Deco design have been reinterpreted in this harbourside Sydney apartment. Living spaces are finished in a subtle palette of textured wool carpet inset to a walnut timber surround, with bone white walls and timberwork. An architect-designed timber dining table and sunroom banquette complements the original Paul Kafka joinery, which has been painstakingly restored. The design also features bespoke joinery in the bedrooms and bold bathroom and kitchen tiling.
