Mopho Noodle Bar

Designed to respond to chef Benjamin Cooper’s pan-Asian culinary style, the design of this noodle bar features elements of a hawker’s bazaar. An exposed dry store features walls lined with custom-patterned bamboo panels. An arrag of hangers, sheves and pendant lights are dappled through the space. A stitched fabric ceiling, hung loosely, mimics a canopy, depicting abstract images of cheeky Shanghai models from the 1950s.
