George Seaview Apartment

This small apartment memorializes some of the largely undocumented history of the local punk scene, founded in the George Seaview building in the 1970s and 80s. The bathroom cabinet is an interpretation of a 70s band with no name, while the ‘game of life’ wall tiling references the work of 80s street artists inspired by punk. Corridors are eliminated, with spaces entombing the punk bathroom like a concealed story from the era.
