ENERGEX Newstead

The intent was to create a community workplace enlivened by the energy of the people. High-energy zones such as stairs, breakouts and congregation spaces at each atrium edge create a buzz of activity visible from all levels. This energy is dispersed throughout the fitout through connectivity and transparency. Materials reflect the organisation: timber battening is crafted from recycled power poles, while colours and graphics reflect the operating regions. The building is a raw container, free of superfluous finishes to offer individual flexibility.
