Coco Pendant

Inspired by the form of traditional Japanese spinning tops, the Coco Pendant combines the processes of timber turning and metal spinning. The form highlights the contrast between the Victorian Ash timber and spun aluminium, combining these two very different materials in a single, unified object. The powder-coated shade sits over the timber piece without any fixtures or fittings and exposes the timber on the inside of the shade, providing an interesting feature when viewed from below.
