Spice Temple

The design of Spice Temple transforms a Sydney basement into a place of vibrant, mysterious entertainment. Eastern inspirations take the visitor on a journey, past an LED screen door at street level to the foot of the stairs, where the interior is glimpsed through screens abstracted by lighting. Textured materials and bright lights at the entrance recall the hawker markets of Asia, before giving way to richer dining areas that subtly allude to Asian culture through colour, lighting and space.
