“The 80s are back” exhibition design, from Trigger Design and Toland Williams Architects, is an unconventional and adventurous exploration of exhibition design. The project included the exhibition naming and branding, interior architecture, art and graphics direction, display design and marketing campaign. It fuses visual cues from the decade, including references to pop music, nightclubs, video games and computer technologies. Gridded steel mesh is used for the floor, with fluorescent acrylic display cases that appear to float above the mesh floor.
