Shaping Elegance: Robert Fritzlaff

The design of the Shaping Elegance: Robert Fritzlaff exhibition fuses the work of Australian couturier Robert Fritzlaff into the grand historic context of the National Trust Property, Como House. Historical components from The National Trust Como House archives, such as furniture and household objects, were curated to create a uniquely engaging backdrop and carefully framed vignettes for the fashionably forward garments, fashion design utensils, artefacts and drawings of Robert Fritzlaff. An interesting yet poignant tension is established across the exhibition.
