Secede

The concept for this piece was to separate the clutter and create surface offerings in different sizes for specific items. The underframe is simply a structure propping up the laminated surfaces and protrudes in one corner to act as a support for books. Two laminated trays are imbedded into the work surface to replace the role of draws; the desk has limited filing space, which is no longer as important in today’s computer age.
