Protea 1 (pendant light)

The unique lamination technique applied to the FSC-certified European Beech veneer of the Protea light enhances its organic properties. An efficient mechanical press with minimal environmental impact produces the petal segments, and the light uses an energy saving bulb. The Protea light’s reflection of nature is enhanced as the timber lights make subtle life-like movements, opening in and out, dependent on atmospheric conditions. Protea is lightweight, packaged flat in thin recycled cardboard and easily assembled by the end user, who is then able to personalise its configuration.
