NAB Child Care Centre

The NAB Child Care Centre breaks away from the clinical space, instead providing a temporary home for the children encouraging interaction, learning and play. Elements of surface, edge, material and volume provide a support space for children, while glazed operable walls allow for flexible play spaces. The balance between transparency and solid is carefully considered for display and recreation, with glazing providing strong visual connections throughout the space. Integrated ‘children’s pods’ are provided as a place where children can retreat to rest, read or play.
