The light and spacious workplace reflects the creative agency’s interactive nature and provides thought-provoking spaces, to allow the generation of ‘big ideas’. A flexible and logical mix of spaces with varying levels of openness and formality were constructed around a ‘kitchen table’ community concept. The ‘pitch’ space is purposely located away from the entry to lead clients through the story of the agency. The design also relates to the urban/industrial context of Walsh Bay with a layering of raw materials such as plywood ceilings, exposed services, timber floorboards and a brick reception wall.
