Green Void

An organic sculpture inspired by nature, Green Void featured woven, stretch fabric mechanically attached to aluminium track profiles, suspended using aluminium cables. Realised in lightweight fabric, using the latest digital fabrication and engineering techniques, the 300 square metres of material covered 3,000 cubic metres. Installed in the atrium of Customs House, the work succeeds in its quest for optimum efficiency in material use, construction weight, fabrication and installation time, while achieving maximum visual impact. The design can be easily transported, quickly installed and is fully reusable.
