Gold Coast Airport Low Cost Carrier Terminal

The refurbishment and extension of Australia’s first low cost carrier terminal incorporates a common domestic and international check-in area, a food court, retail outlets and information and car rental booths. The concept was to make the terminal an extension of the Gold Coast holiday experience, through colour, graphics and material detailing. Clever design solutions uphold both budgetary and functional requirements. The organic layout encourages movement and circulation and feature colour carpets direct traffic. Architectural features were primarily applied through feature colour wall paints, graphics and fabrics, for easy adaptation.
