Eat Green Design

The minimal material used in the design was transported flat. Gravity creates the timber spirals’ form; they require no hardware or connections. The lighting is compact fluorescents that have since been reused by the supplier, and the steel frame and rigging is all recycled and recyclable. The components made from Australian plantation plywood sheet are designed with sheet size in mind, to prevent waste and offcuts in manufacture. The piece was also designed to be fully recycled in reuse but the entire installation was eventually bought by a restaurant.
