Bloodwood

The Bloodwood interior reflects the inner Sydney urban environment and has a focus on dematerialisation. Reclaimed, recycled, or recyclable materials have been implemented, with some retained from the existing structure (formerly the Newtown Conservatory). Every seat in the house has led a previous life, while recycled jars hold tealight candles and add to the mood created by LEDs in the deck and bar. The suspended and knotted cables in the dining room are finished by dimmable cold cathode fluorescents.
