Bloodwood

This design is in keeping with Bloodwood’s ethos of minimal waste. Reused, recycled or recyclable materials are used throughout the interior. Certified plantation timbers and construction waste form feature ceilings, walls, banquette seating and tables, while all seats are reclaimed. The space is naturally ventilated, eliminating the need for air conditioning, while rainwater is harvested to flush toilets. Passive solar design techniques combined with LEDs, tealights and long life compact fluoro lighting ensures efficient energy use throughout the venue.
