A compact, climate responsive, adaptable weekender, robust and multi-layered in interior detail. This is a ‘two-thirds size’ house designed to use and consume less. It is multifunctional with adaptable spaces that open and close to transform ‘rooms’. The ‘two-thirds size’ explores a lifestyle potential for future reality, in which space and resources are scare and costs are at a premium. The elongated one-room-wide form allows views right through the interior to the trees beyond, reinforcing the compact yet open feel and integrating the landscape into the interior.
