Aesop Chatswood

The design of the Aesop Chatswood store represents a series of riparian conditions. The shopfront window makes use of glass blades that create flickering reflections as the viewer approaches, subtly echoing the dance of light across the waves of Sydney Harbour. The soft material palette of limed marine plywood, off-white colouring, coir flooring and aged brass reference yachting and boating, while the testing area wash-plane of aged brass echoes bathing, as well as sunlight.
