Personal Libraries

In an age of digital savvy and technological inundation, Owen and Vokes find solace in the genuine, the quiet and the analogue. Bound works and their embellishment of our day to day habitation of space are celebrated in a range of book-specific storage. If Alvar Aalto’s chair leg is the little sister of the building column, then the OAV Personal Libraries are the little sisters of the houses they design. The pieces are composed as if they were miniature buildings, occupied by a personal narrative. As well as the Personal Library, the suite includes the Magazine, Ewan + Charlie, Bedside, Media and Kitchen Libraries.
