Meerkin and Apel

The design approach for the law offices explores alternative accommodation options for traditional business functions, meeting the client specifications for an environment that set them apart from similar firms and that would also increase amenity. The disparate locale of the site, itself a former confectionary factory, with residential, industrial and commercial properties within Victorian terraces and aging factories, was embraced. The design sought to humanise the workplace and push the boundaries of what was deemed appropriate for law offices.
