HASSELL committed to achieving a sustainable workplace, targeting 5 Star Green Star Office Interiors. Controlled services reduce energy consumption, including motion sensored and addressable lighting and time controlled air conditioning. Equipment with low water consumption and low energy consumption was selected, including WELS rated sanitaryware. HVAC systems are enhanced to provide employees with increased ventilation rates and oxygen levels, and natural ventilation is also available. The glazing allows good natural light filtration through the open, largely un-built workplace. Eighty-eight percent of building waste was reused or recycled. Additional materials and furniture are constructed from low VOC and environmentally friendly materials.
