Geode upholstered sofa range is manufactured using solid Australian timber carrying the EcoSelect label and zero emission MDF wooden panels with formaldehyde ‘scavengers’ that reduce emissions of volatile chemicals (VOC’s). The sofas are manufactured with water based glues. Nominated open cell polyurethane foams have been assessed against GECA 28-2006 Furniture and Fittings Standards and also carry the Australian Good Environment Choice Eco-Label with maximum warranty. The foams are manufactured without any prohibited or carcinogenic substances. High endurance metal springs are used in the internal support. The finished Geode products are designed so no packaging is used for distribution across Australia.
