Freefold Furniture – Toby Horrocks

The idea for Freefold Furniture began in 2008 when Toby Horrocks moved into an empty rental apartment and needed furniture. Utilising his subsequent designs, Freefold Furniture currently produces two flat-pack storage systems. The design ethos of Freefold Furniture is “sustainable, functional and beautiful.” Toby Horrocks graduated in Architecture at the University of Melbourne in 1999, and for the next nine years he worked for John Wardle Architects, where he was given the title Research and Development architect. As well as Freefold Furniture, he now runs his own architecture practice, Toby Horrocks Architecture, in Melbourne.
