Darling Point Apartment

This project represents a move away from a generic aesthetic to express and embody the client in their home. Grand living spaces are the hallmark of this 1920s Spanish mission building. The philosophy was to allow the client’s collection of contemporary Australian art and objects from around the world to speak, against a backdrop of elegant white walls. The neutral palette also supports the focus on architectural elements, such as the fireplace and architraves. Timeless pieces of furniture were selected for their appeal and beauty, therefore cohering with the space rather than simply filling a gap.
