Quub

What is the ‘big (IDEA)’ behind this project?
Quub was motivated by the idea of using less materials than are conventionally needed for a chest of drawers. This is achieved by making the frame a series of ribs and utilising the actual drawers to build up the body of the piece. The first prototype was made entirely from floorboard offcuts all shorter than 53 cm. Changing silhouettes are created as different drawers are opened.
