What is the ‘big (IDEA)’ behind this project?
Calypso hybridises a Love Seat with a traditional Chaise Longue. It is designed to provide its user with cocoon like personal space and to inspire conversation and intimacy between couples. Calypso offers five ergonomically correct relaxed seating positions that radiate around its form – the ultimate in true comfort. It is available through Living Edge Showrooms nationally and internationally.
The development of Calypso was assisted by the Australia Council for the Arts, MMM Grant, with fabric sponsored by Kvadrat Maharam.
