What is the ‘big (IDEA)’ behind this project?
The Swell Stool/side table is the latest addition to korban/flaubert’s vibrant polyethylene product family. The super shiny swell form was inspired by plant growth and liquid dynamics. The effect of gravity on liquid helped to evolve the Swell Stool’s expressive yet simple form. Tooling for the Swell Stool matches new machine tooling technology with rotomoulding: the stayer in the plastics industry. The Swell Stool is durable and available in a wide range of colours.
