What is the ‘big (IDEA)’ behind this project?
The Onya table connects design, innovation and sustainability. The system incorporates low, embodied energy materials such as sustainably harvested ply and Eveneer (environmentally produced and reconstructed veneers, free of formaldehydes). The construction method is free of glues and screws to allow simple assembly and disassembly, or alternatively this elegant design allows for easy refurbishment, extending the life of the product. The table packs flat for transportation, saving further energy costs and making it even easier to take home.
