What is the ‘big (IDEA)’ behind this project?
The big “IDEA” of this project was to create a playful mix of modern and classical elements to form the basis of this contemporary-eclectic apartment. Classical elements such as the metallic shades on the chandelier, ebonized treatment of wood on the turned chair legs and crocodile imprinted leather upholstery on a 17th century Louis chair were selected for their modern embellishments. Decorative pieces were kept pure, maintaining a contemporary twist by use of simple shapes and streamlined patterns.
