What is the ‘big (IDEA)’ behind this project?
The stem of the Paper Moon Lamp bows as if supporting the weight of the hanging cocoon lamp, evoking a chrysalis. The fluid stainless steel stem and spun base combine seamlessly with the fragile hand made gossamer shell of the lamp. Carefully constructed from paper knitted across the structure of the wicker cane, the pod reveals nothing of conventional paper lamp construction. Both pendant and floor lamp styles are powered by a low-watt electric lamp.
