What is the ‘big (IDEA)’ behind this project?
H & B Fashion’s office and showroom animates and transforms the interior to become an integrated element of the exterior urban environment – a gritty formerly industrial street. The stripped back, restored building shell draws on its heritage aspects. The lighting system is an abstraction of the gridded dot-and-cross paper used in pattern making and fashion design. The service pods are unique and functional, clad in privacy mirror. Floating above the upstairs pod sits a mezzanine workspace finished in black Forbo Marmole.
