What is the ‘big (IDEA)’ behind this project?
The idea behind Drift was to design a bar that feels like a luxurious beach house. Drift is at the centre of Bondi Beach and provides relief from the sprawl of Campbell Parade with an elegant cocktail bar. The materials and finishes allude to a classic weatherboard beachside residence. The impact is heightened by the dramatic selection of colours and textures, lit with Kevin Reilly wax light fittings.
