What is the ‘big (IDEA)’ behind this project?
In an attempt to reflect the clothing designs of Ashley Fogel, the fitout approach was one of ‘pared back opulence’. The free form, ivory-coloured hanging rails and the glossy, black, lacquered counters and fitting room doors reflect this and provide something of a 1930s feel. The ‘floating’ mirror glass panels, walnut cabinetry, dark shiny timber floors and stainless steel rod fittings combine to create a space that is literally layered and reflective.
