The ‘Breathe’ sofa has been created using completely recyclable materials. The sofa is produced by fixing hand-woven Polyethylene flat plastic strips to the aluminium structure using an air gun process. The design is enduring in two senses—physically it is strong, lightweight and resistant to indoor and outdoor elements and stylistically it is timeless—to preclude the sofa becoming victim to the culture of ‘throwawayism’. The product is usually shipped in containers, to maximise volume, in recyclable packaging of polyethylene bubble wrap, cardboard, and recycled blankets.
