Unlike most salons the layout of the cutting stations are designed like a team workplace, while a central table allows for interaction between cutter and colourist and also between patrons. The layout is simultaneously interactive and discrete depending on how the participant wishes to engage with it. Along the walls, image display, product shelving and seating create an integrated solution for display and zoning. This component combined with black tiled partitions and rear wall mirrors creates a graphically strong and dynamic backdrop to the lighting system, the abstraction of a strand of cut hair falling from the ceiling.
