Urban Burger Hampton is the flagship store of the re-launched Urban Burger franchise and initiates a new brand position and concept direction. The difficult triangular-shaped site presented challenges to traffic flow, but clever planning connects the long, disjointed tenancy into one continuous space. To counteract a length of full-height windows that render the interior permanently on show, a mural based on a hungry King Kong gorilla on the hunt for the perfect burger was commissioned to anchor the space, engage passers-by and inject a sense of humour. Individual aspects blend each new store into its surrounding area, creating a local feel.
