Designed as a response to ‘Blobism’, the Hip Light takes inspiration from human anatomy, mimicking the behavioural characteristics of a human joint system. The ball and socket joints rotate, allowing the framework to be positioned at a range of angles, to suit the lighting needs of every user. Balanced on a well-defined rounded base, the Hip Light’s polished aluminium body is topped with a hand crafted black fabric shade and cord. These contrasting features, combined with its biomorphic design, work hand in hand to create a fun, ‘hip’ product that adds character to any desk, table or working environment.
