Bombala easy chair and ottoman are engineered with a reverse cantilevered frame, specially reinforced to allow flexibility, and supported with multiple slats. The design was researched and developed over several years and was originally inspired by Miles van de Rohe’s 1928 Barcelona chair. The reinterpretation embodies a new, unique character with a more contemporary aesthetic. The easy chair and the four-leg table chair are suitable for outdoor use and the tapered angles allow them to be stacked. Bombala is hand fabricated in mild steel with highly skilled attention to detail so that welded junctions blend perfectly.
