How to enter
Please read the following instructions carefully before proceeding to the entry page.
1. Select a category
Select a category that best applies to the project you wish to submit. Information about the different category criteria can be found by clicking on the “categories” buttons. There are nine categories from which to choose. In addition to this, applicants can also elect to submit their projects for consideration under TWO bonus categories – Sustainability, or Emerging Designer, however special criteria apply.
2. Complete the electronic entry form.
A separate entry form must be completed for every project submitted . If you would also like to submit your project to the Emerging Designer category please check the relevant box on the electronic entry form and include supporting text in the space provided. Should you wish to enter your project into the Sustainability category, you must first submit your project to one of the nine standard categories, by filling in the standard electronic entry form. Once you have submitted this form, you will be automatically given the option of filling in an additional Sustainability Award entry form, should you desire to.
3. Fill out the “IDEA 2010 Payment” form PDF.
There is a $80 administration fee for every project submitted for consideration to IDEA 2010. No submission will be considered until this fee is paid. To facilitate payment, download the “IDEA 2010″ form, below. This form must be completed and a hard copy submitted with your application, along with supporting documentation. The IDEA 2010 payment form will serve as a tax invoice receipt so please ensure you keep a copy of this form for your own records.

4. Check your email.
Once you have read the terms and conditions and submitted your form(s) electronically, an email will be sent to the email address that you provided on the form(s). This email will contain a checklist of requirements, a list of Terms and Conditions to be signed, and the text of your completed submission form(s).
5. Post off your submission.
The printed text from your submission form(s) is to be posted to the address provided on the email, along with a CD of no more than 12 high resolution and 12 low resolution digital photos of your project, your completed “IDEA 2010 Payment” form, a signed copy of the Terms and Conditions and any other supporting documentation. Your entry will be invalid if these materials are not received.
