emerging designers award
The Emerging Designer Award seeks to profile fresh design talent and reward those designers who exhibit great potential. The Award is only open to design practices that are less than five years old. Entrants must supply dated ABN registration information.
While technically this allows more mature designers, who have only recently established a new design practice to enter, it is in the spirit of this category and in the shortlisting process to recognise young and emerging individuals.
As a bonus category, only those who are already submitting projects for consideration to other awards and who meet the special criteria may apply for consideration under the Emerging Designer category. Please send a brief description about yourself and your business in no more than 300 words, so that jury members have the opportunity to consider your design capabilities and potential. As a guideline you might like to describe how and why the design practice commenced, your business/company structure, your projects, design style and plans for the future.
