designer of the year 2010
The Designer of the Year Award is one of the most prestigious awards of IDEA 2010 and this year, the category has been enhanced and two awards are on offer. One prize will be decided by the IDEA 2010 jury and will recognise outstanding success by a designer who has submitted entries into the Awards. The other award will be the People’s Choice Award and the winner will be the designer most nominated by his or her peers.
This year the format of the People’s Choice Award for Designer of the Year will change so that only designers who have been shortlisted in IDEA 2010 can be nominated. The list of eligible designers will be posted on the website after the first round of shortlisted projects and products has been published in (inside) issue 61.
