What is the ‘big (IDEA)’ behind this project?
Topple was designed as a sustainable piece of lighting, with the aim of creating a lasting personal relationship with its owner. Topple hopes to play an important roll in the life of its owner, thus becoming sustainable instead of disposable. Topple takes a form inspired by an old fashioned precious lamp and gives it a function that involves treating this seemingly precious object with disrespect. The lamp has to be ‘toppled’ to turn on.
