What is the ‘big (IDEA)’ behind this project?
Brooke Aitken Design is an architectural firm that strives to blur the divisions between architecture and interior design, so the final solution is seamless. The aims is elegant aesthetics combined with practicality that will stand the test of time. My mantra is ‘soft modernism’ – a modern shell layered with interior considerations producing an outcome that is neither harsh nor cold. My work in London with Anouska Hempel has taught me the importance of designing, refining and repeating.

After 10 years in the industry it was time for Danielle Cattell to leave the nest and launch herself into the design world under her own banner… design dc is currently six vibrant, energetic young women with varying levels of experience who together create fabulous interiors…Our philosophy: to create interiors that bring joy to those that inhabit them and inspire those that enter them.
