Phamish Darlinghurst

The owners of Phamish, a Vietnamese Restaurant requested a new image using elements of ‘chrysanthemum’ and ‘gold’. Facet Studio decided to incorporate an expanded sense of space with the new image and accordingly decided on a partition system. Five partitions featuring the required elements were located and inserted, increasing the sense of depth. Furthermore, the void between the sliced-open chrysanthemums of each panel created room for more imaginary chrysanthemums to expand beyond the visible, with this imaginary expansion ultimately linking to the expansion in sense of space.
