The outer faces of the solid clear oak frames are precisely engineered to angle into the centre (like a tetrahedron) to achieve maximum strength when attached, using hidden joiners, to the upholstered seat shells. The design, reminiscent of the pre-industrial tilling plough, evokes memories of traditional timber chairs but achieves unique character through a modern, crafted aesthetic. Fabrics or leathers can be specified and the chair easily disassembles for re-upholstery. The frames can be clear polished, stain matched or colour coated.
