Cirque Coffee Table

The Cirque coffee table is an exploration of balance, using form and material to create strength and functional volume below. Supporting the given of a horizontal glass surface, the visually and structurally pared down form is repeated three times. The repetition creates negative space, a volume of balance, harmony and rhythm. Each of the three pieces fits into the next with a simple pin allowing for easy transportation, set up or storage. The table’s plywood construction uses veneers sourced from renewable and sustainable forests.
