The restored café interior was to be modern, without being too cold in its material selection, to cater to the café’s broad range of clients. The discovery of existing windows facing onto ACDC Lane as well as a textured and interesting layering of paint surfaces on the newly exposed brickwork directed much of the new design. Modern stone counters fuse with traditional elements in pendant lights and wall mirrors to provide a playful, yet comfortable, environment. LED backlit wall panels highlight the textured wall, enhancing ambience.
